Emily Morales made her Broadway debut in the Tony winning revival of Lincoln Center’s South Pacific as part of the original cast. Besides being one of the ensemble, she also understudied and played the role of Liat opposite Matthew Morrison. In 2011, one of her dreams came true when she sang as a soloist in Suites by Sondheim concert with Lea Salonga at the Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center. Prior to that, she had the pleasure of performing opposite Andrew Rannells in Miss Saigon. Favorite roles include Kim in Miss Saigon, Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin, Tuptim in The King and I, Ti Moune in Once On This Island and the lead role of Belen in the NYC workshop of Chay Yew's Long Season directed by Peter Dubois. She has recently made her Lyric Opera of Chicago debut this past spring.

Born and raised in the Philippines, she has also worked with Repertory Philippines, Tanghalang Pilipino, Philippine Opera Company, Gantimpala, among others. She also did an Asian tour of the musical Chang and Eng and traveled the world with the UP Concert Chorus. TV credits include national and international commercials and GMA’s (Philippines) telenovela Te Amo Maging Sino Ka Man, in which she appeared as one of the regular cast.

As a print model, her face has graced numerous magazines, catalogues, newspapers, fliers and even billboards. She has also appeared on countless industrial films.

Emily is a proud graduate of University of the Philippines Conservatory of Music and a union member of both AEA and AGMA.

When she's not performing, she is busy being an entrepreneur. She also loves to work as a professional makeup artist on her free time. However, her favorite role of all is being a mom!
